Frequently Asked Questions
What plants are being offered? A variety of annuals, mixed herb and ornamental containers and hanging baskets are being offered. We encourage customers to purchase full flats, as flats are discounted.
When is the deadline for placing an order? All orders must be placed by or before Monday, April 3, 2023.
What size are the plants? Annuals are sold in sets of three 4.5" square containers. Mixed herb and ornamental containers are sold in 12" or 14" round containers. Hanging baskets (in assorted colors for each type of plant) are sold in 10" round containers. Flats contain 15 plants, all 4.5" square containers.
Why are you requiring that I order plants in multiples of three? To simplify handling of orders, all 4.5" annuals must be ordered in increments of three (unless ordering flats). Each plant is $7, so three plants are $21. This compares to a price of $9 per plant at local garden centers. However, mixed herb containers, ornamental containers and hanging baskets (HB) may be purchased individually.
If you order Quantity 1, you will receive three plants. If you order Quantity 2, you will receive six plants, etc.
Can I receive a discount if I purchase a full flat? You will receive a 10% discount when you purchase a full flat. A flat contains 15 plants of the identical color and variety.
You are able to order multiple flats. If you order Quantity 1, you will receive 15 plants. If you order Quantity 2, you will receive 30 plants, etc.
What forms of payment are accepted? Major credit cards are accepted. Payment is due when you place your order.
When and where can I pick up my plants? Pickup is on Thursday, April 27, from 3 to 5 pm at 5315 Falmouth Road. Our garden club members will load your car.
What if I paid for local delivery? Your order will be delivered to your home on Thursday, April 27.
What if I cannot come to pick up my plants at the scheduled pickup time? Please contact Betsy Turley at turl5@aol.com to arrange a convenient pickup time.
